DIY bi-phase makeup remover

Prepare a two-phase makeup remover with your own hands, since finding your own ideal makeup remover from those available on the market is very problematic. It turns out that if a product dissolves mascara well, it will definitely dissolve my eyes too… And if there are no problems with irritation, then I have to rub my eyelids for 2 minutes to remove makeup - I just can’t find a product that suits me in all respects. It got to the point where I started washing my face with soap - shame on me…

How to cook:

  1. The bottle in which the remover will be stored must be thoroughly washed and doused with boiling water.
  2. Infuse the chamomile for about 10-15 minutes, we will need about 70 ml, add citric acid (or, if you have access to a preservative for soap making, then you can use one of them), pour it into a bottle.
  3. Add oil to the bottle.
  4. Now a spoonful of good shampoo.
  5. Glycerin, if available, vegetable.

How to use:

Before each use, shake well, apply the liquid to a cotton pad and gently blot the eyes. We wash ourselves with warm water. We store the product in the refrigerator.

Facial makeup remover with coconut oil

Coconut oil for me is the most versatile product in skin care. And it does not irritate the mucous membranes! Try this wash option too.

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 tsp unrefined coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp. l baby shampoo
  • 100 ml filtered water
  • bottle

Add oil and shampoo to warm water, shake until dissolved and ingredients are completely mixed. Soak a cotton pad in the mixture and gently remove makeup. If the butter rises and hardens as it cools, place the jar in warm water for a few seconds and it will melt. You can also use refined coconut oil, but I have not tried it yet.

I use coconut oil as a cream for the skin around the eyes. I’m very pleased - my eyelashes are growing, no swelling in the morning, my skin is velvety. So I recommend it!
