Decoration for a flower pot Fly agaric
There are 2 weeks until March 8th, it’s time to get ready. This year I will give a decoration for a flower pot - “stickers”))). Each decoration takes a couple of hours (give or take), with a minimum of materials. These things look cute and funny. Today I have crocheted fly agarics. The work is medium painstaking, a beginner knitter can handle it.

Decoration for a flower pot. Materials:
- Skewers for shish kebab
- wire
- yarn
- sewing needle
- a little filler
- Wrap the wire around a skewer - these will be the mushroom stems. Wind yarn of the desired shade onto the wire, I had ancient shaggy wool. You may need to fix it with glue in some places.
- We knit mushroom caps. We knit 9 sc into the amigurumi ring. Next row - 12 sc; 17 sc; 18 sc. The number of columns and rows depends on the desired size of the cap and the thickness of the threads. You need to knit tightly, since we will stuff the hats with silicone (paralon, holofiber…)
- Having finished knitting the last row, do not cut the thread - we will use it to sew the bottom - the “accordion” of the hat.
- Embroider spots on fly agarics.
- Bottom of the hat - we knit 10-11 double crochets into an amigurumi ring (depending on the size of the hat). If your hats are larger than mine, then knit more rounds to the desired size.
- We put a little filler in the hat and sew on an accordion.
- We string the caps onto the wire, as if “screwing them”, since the filler will resist.
- I sprayed the base of the mycelium stem with varnish to protect it from moisture.
We decorate a flower pot or give it to family and friends. Try making these things in the shape of birds, stars or hearts. Everything took about 2 hours.

These things sometimes work as plant support, support for climbing flowers. If the stick becomes unusable, it can be replaced, leaving the decor. After all, you don’t have to use bamboo - it can be any material available to you. Even the most unsightly flowers become much more interesting if there is such a “stick” in the pot.
