Crochet house slippers toys

I want to share ideas on how to crochet house slippers and toys for kids and adults. I like knitted slippers better than store-bought ones with rubber soles. You can knit slippers taking into account a warm insole, under a thick sock.

The sole for house slippers can be made of a piece of leather or leatherette (mine is made of leatherette, they wear well). Another option is a sole made from unusual yarn made from garbage bags. Below I am adding a video of a master class - yarn from bags.

I have experience with this kind of yarn, I knitted the soles for 2 pairs of house boots, everything by eye. There are knitting patterns for soles and insoles online that can be safely applied to “batch” yarn. It wears very well, and if the bags are strong, then the sole will not wear out for a long time.

Working with polyethylene yarn is very pleasant, but in the summer your hands get a little sweaty. If you are not yet familiar with this type of recycling needlework, you will be surprised how many interesting and useful things you can knit from bags! Boots in the photo below:
